13.10.2026 P2X
Abschlusskonferenz des Kopernikus-Projekts P2X – Die Rolle von Power-to-X in zukünftigen Energiesystemen
Industriepark Höchst, Frankfurt am Main
13.10.2026 08:30 - 18:00 Uhr

After ten years of successful research and development within the Kopernikus Project P2X, project partners and guest speakers will present the milestones achieved and discuss the current state of play in an international context.
During the three project phases, valuable pioneering work was carried out in the field of electrolysis for hydrogen production, in storage and distribution using derivatives (e.g. liquid organic hydrogen carriers, LOHCs), and in the production of e-fuels (sustainable aviation fuels, SAFs) and sustainable plastics. The technologies developed have successfully made the decisive leap from the laboratory into industrial application.
The project’s final conference will also look ahead and deal with the question: How can PtX make a key contribution to the energy transition and the resilience of our energy system, both today and in the future?
Following the lecture programme, an excursion will offer the opportunity to visit the P2X demonstration facility in person, which will demonstrate the processing of synthetic crude oil into aviation kerosene.
The Kopernikus Project P2X Final Conference is open to the publicand is primarily aimed at experts and those with a professional interest in the subject.
